Baby H3 {30 weeks}

So excited that we're 30 weeks! The countdown is on with 10 to go!

How far along: 30 weeks!

Size of the baby: the size of a head of cabbage

Weight gain/loss: +12 pounds

Maternity clothes: oh yes!

Gender: Baby boy #3! Henley Ryan!

Movement: He's definitely a night guy, but when he moves it's visible from the outside!

Sleep: Needing more of it! Insomnia is miserable.

What I miss: Walking normal-this waddle is not pretty...

Cravings: Water

Symptoms: Right now I'm experiencing lots of insomnia and leg cramps :(

Best moment of the week: Had a doctor's appointment and heard that sweet heartbeat. I don't get tired of that ;)

The River

A few weeks ago Ryan's whole family headed to the river for a little "family reunion." With seven siblings and ten grandkids it's not very often that we get everyone together.

We did a lot of relaxing hanging out at picnic tables and the pool and the river. We pretty much were outside nonstop.
Of course the main reason they wanted to get everyone together was for fishing.
This was Hudson's first time to really fish. But with lots of cousins to play with his attention span on the pond was pretty short. He and daddy {mostly daddy} caught a few little guys!
These boys were armed and ready with their nets to get any fish that came their way.

And our nightly routine consisted of marshmallows and fire...
A little family photo op ;)

Hudson loves seeing his cousins.
Hayden mostly loved all the places he could explore. He was ALL over the place, he was quite the escape artist.
The boys also loved the pool/splash pad because they could run back and forth between the two. But chasing those two meant this is the only picture I made it out with ;)

Each family stayed in a cute little cabin with a loft. I didn't know if Hud would sleep up there very well, but we was worn out enough each day that he was ready for the rest. His brother on the other hand, was usually wide awake and ready for the day before sunrise. So we'd get up and take walks and visit the park and see if we could find daddy outside fishing.
The kids all made tie dyed shirts as a fun little memory for their river vacation.
As you can see above, Hay didn't care much for the experience. Hud loved it and asks all the time to wear his "dye" shirt.
And we got one family picture before we all went our separate ways. It was such a fun memory for the boys and hopefully will become a family tradition.

Hayden Greer {18 months}

Hayden Greer you are 18 months old!
You weigh 26lbs 12oz
You are 31.25 inches tall.
Your head is about 19 inches.

You wear size 18 month clothes, size 5 shoes and diapers.

You are chunky! {Sorry just want to tell it like it is}

You have SO MUCH HAIR! We thought your brother had a lot of hair (and he does), but you have so much and it's long. I love the shaggy look on you, I think it fits your personality so well.

You have 6 teeth.
You love to eat. You pretty much eat everything-you're not a big fan of cheese or lunch meat. You shove everything in your mouth by the handfuls. You do not like to eat with a spoon or a fork. You are addicted to milk.

You are not a talker. Not because you can't, you just choose not to. When you do talk you say-ball, dog, dada, my (mine), hot, ow, papa, dis (this), dat (that).

You smile ALL the time. You are the most joyful, carefree baby.

You are SO opposite of your brother-he's a talker and very thoughtful, he's cautious and nervous. He's skinny and has lots of short hair. He is a no touch kind of kid. You are busy, active, and carefree. Your chunky and have lots of long hair.  You are a snuggler. I love that you aren't the same. It's so fun watching you each be your own little humans.

You are addicted to your "bay bay" blanket. It already looks like it's turning in to rags because you drag it everywhere. I'm sure when you're 18 you'll be dragging the last few shreds of it to college.

My favorite thing about you right now is how you want to snuggle everything and get kisses. Any kind of animal or blanket you put on your shoulder and lay your head on it. When you want kisses from someone you lean in your forehead and make a kiss noise until they kiss you. It melts mommy's heart ;)
We love you so so much. You have brought so much joy to our family. The way you smile with those squinty eyes just lights up everyone's day. You constantly keep us laughing and busy. We are so thankful for you and can't wait to see you as the big brother. We love you bubba! Happy 18 months!

Baby H3 {Gender Reveal}

Wednesday we found out the gender of our baby. We wanted to do something fun to reveal the gender to our family.
After our appointment we headed to SAM's to order a cake! I've been so impressed with their cakes and cupcakes since they've opened in our town.
We had hardly finished dinner and the anticipation was just too much
Hudson was excited to help with the cake!
Finding out what's inside....
A family full of boys! I love it!
The boys were really excited about the balloon!
You know when you're little and you dream of what your family would be like? Well I will honestly say that mine never contained three sons. But it's seriously the best thing that has happened to our family. We couldn't be more full of love for three cute and sweet boys. They are perfect gifts from God and we feel honored he chose us. (And we think he has a little bit of a sense of humor giving us a bunch of boys). We are so excited for Henley Ryan to make his appearance in September!

Baby H3 {18 Weeks}

Baby and I on Easter!

How far along: 18 weeks

Size of the baby: The size of a bell pepper.

Weight gain/loss: +6

Maternity clothes: Yes, they're still a little baggy. But at least their not squishing the poor baby like regular clothes.

Gender: It's a..... (we know, will share soon :)

Movement: Yes! Lots of movement at night, some during the day.

Sleep: It's ok. Need lots of it, usually up in the middle of the night.

What I miss: Sleeping on my tummy!

Cravings: Always hungry & thirsty for water.

Symptoms: ha! Big belly, movement, and lots of eating. I think that's enough, right?

Best moment of the week: Technically I'm 19 weeks now, but the best moment has been seeing our baby in the ultrasound and hearing that everything looked perfect. Baby weighs about 9oz.

I love that big round belly!
This one was my absolute favorite-a cute little perfect hand.
This picture makes the baby legs look so long, but they didn't measure any longer than normal.

Spring Break {Dallas}

I should probably break this post up into a few to tell you all the great details about Spring Break, but in an effort to get caught up I'm going to put it all together.
We were so ready for a little break from the real world and desperately needed some friend time. So we called up some of our favorites, invited ourselves over and packed up and hit the road. They were so sweet to let us crash in their cute apartment taking up and making messes of every inch of space they had!
The first day we arrived we caught up with friends, visited a super cool grocery store for the essentials for any friend sleepover {pizza & ice cream} and got acquainted with Penny!
The day wasn't complete without an 11pm trip to Whataburger. All I can say is Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit.
The next day we visited the Klyde Warren park downtown! It literally sits on top of the highway! We had a picnic lunch, climbed on the spider web and the lookout, spun on the merry go round, and more! It ended up being a really nice day to be out in the sun!
We wore the boys out so Katie and I hit Sonic Happy Hour and did some shopping while the boys napped.
We also visited the Galleria and got some great deals before meeting family for dinner!
Our last day ended with some more shopping and then Hudson's big finale-Legoland! Unfortunately for us there were about a 156,390 more kids in the place than could actually fit and it was really overwhelming.
Poor Hudson just had a rough day. Isn't that the way it always go when you've really been looking forward to something? Legos thrown at him, smashed hand, lost in the play place, he as just struggling and completely worn out from all of the fun we'd had for the past few days.
And did I mention we were in Dallas with no stroller? Trying to wrangle a busy 16 month old who just wants to go.
They were both troopers and we did as much as we could. It definitely made this mama sad that we couldn't enjoy it a little more :( Oh well, maybe another time.

I thought the mini sets of popular sights in Dallas were super fun! After we had done everything we could but completely melt, we decided it was nap time in the car on the ride home. Goodbye Dallas until next time!
