God is able to immeasurably more than all we could ask or imagine.
Ephesians 3:20
I have been repeating this verse to myself the past few days. God is able. That is what we learned at church on Sunday and I have faith that he really does more and will continue to do more than I could ever dream. He is a faithful and just God. That's why I love Him!
Anyway, tonight after continuing to think about that verse I thought why not share a few of my prayer requests with the world because God is going to do more than I could imagine and I am going to continue to pray for his will. So here they are:
-First of all-my job! I'm not sure where I will be or where God wants me to be next school year, but I have complete faith that he will open the doors that need to be open so that I am where his will wants me!
-Monday, Ryan and I experienced the most incredible gift God could ever give any human being. If you don't believe there is a God or that he can do amazing things wait until you experience this because it will make you believe. He has blessed and surprised us so much the past few months that I cannot even begin to express it all. (more to come on this topic later)
-My sweet mom. As some of you have probably heard on June 1st she found out that she has a fib in her heart. It was hard news and even harder to hear that it's not "if" it comes back, but "when." She sees the cardiologist again tomorrow to discuss options for treatment. Just pray that as she lives with this condition God's will will be done through this. We have a pretty healthy normal family and we are so lucky so it's different for us to hear that someone in our family is suffering. Something we haven't dealt with a lot, but we are just praying for God's guidance and wisdom.
-My poor older sister had a small battle with a step and a dog gate last week and now she is wearing a boot for the summer to heal her foot. Praying that God will give her a speedy and good recovery. It's no fun when you can't drive and you have a heavy black boot on your foot all the time.
-Travel and business this summer. First of all for our safety that we may have fun but also be safe and second that in all of the business this summer we will not lose sight of God's will. That we will take time to focus on Him and spend quiet time with him.
I would love to pray for anyone that needs it. We are talking a lot about prayer at church right now and I want to do my best to spend time in coversation with Him!
May His will be done because He is able!

This is what I woke up to this morning...
No they are not golf balls all over my yard.
We had a large hail storm. Some parts of Stillwater recieved baseball sized hail but luckily we were only at golf ball sized. I don't think my car can handle any more hail this season :(
Hope everyone has a splendid day! It looks like ours is going to be rainy and wet!

One Year

Yesterday Ryan and I celebrated our first anniversary!
Here is a little look back on the past year...
It all started with our wedding on June 7, 2008
Then we celebrated our honeymoon in rainy Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Our year has been filled with many fun events like welcoming in two new members of the Hatch family.
Traveling to see friends, family, and sporting events!
I got my first fishing pole and learned how to fish.

We moved into our first house together and have worked on and have planned many projects to make this house our own.
He has been my biggest fan and constant supporter as I took my first teaching job and experienced all of the challenges and good times that came with it.
To my sweet husband,
Thank you for loving me. Thank you for being my biggest supporter and always my encouragment. I couldn't do life without you. This year has been filled with lots of love, laughter, hard times, and smiles. It has had its surprises and bumps but together we have made it through. Thanks for being everything I have ever needed in a husband. There are more great days ahead and I cannot wait to spend them with you.
Love,
Your biggest fan and love of your life
I have found the one my heart loves.

Life Lately

I haven't written much lately so I thought I would take a few moments to share what's on my heart and things that are going on in life.
I am currently on the job search and am praying that God will show me the right place to work and lead me into what His will is for my careeer next year. This is tough, it's a lot of waiting and I don't want to be patient but I am trying my best. Yesterday I was driving home from an interview and I heard this incredible song and knew that it was just what I needed...

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait
I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience
While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I waitI'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting on You, Lord
This song not only applies while I'm waiting for God to reveal to me what His will is for my life but while my family is waiting on answers from the doctors about my mom. It's not easy to go through a tough time and stay positive, but it's important to have faith and know that God is always in control and that's what makes it easier. There are just so many opportunities in life that we have to serve, worship, and praise God even when we don't know what is going to happen next.
I hope you take the opportunity to praise him even when it's hard.
Praising God always,
Amber
