Blog Hiatus

 I’ve really had no motivation to blog so I’ve been taking a little hiatus. I will do my best to return to regularly scheduled programming now. ha!

Here are a few things we’ve been up to!

Playing Tickle Monster-this is a favorite right now!

Watching American Idol-he uses the Wii mote as his microphone.

Seeing some snow-it was short lived. I think it may have lasted 12 hours at most?! But H wanted everyone to enjoy it so the plush friends got to look out the window!

Celebrating Valentine’s Day!

We are super exciting and stayed home to cook steak and shrimp. Aunt Erin took H for a while and we went on a little ice cream date. Thankfully we don’t have to make a big production of the day, we love each other no matter what!

I think my favorite part of the day was taking H to deliver his Valentine cards-we went to see a few important people to take them their cards! And I really like the way they turned out!

We’ve also made a trip to west Texas! We shopped at World Market (I’m in love), I got to spend time with my best friend and H got to play with his buddy!

H had his first sleepover in Texas (I was down the hall of course)! We let the boys sleep in the same room together-it was a fun experience!

And my mom’s new portion of her business is officially open this week! Go like her Facebook page! Hudson loves the “ball cakes!”

Mickey Party: Party Fun, Guests and Favors

I am SO FAR BEHIND in the blogging world lately, but I’m doing what I can (story of my life). So here is the last post about the birthday then I need to back track WAY back to Christmas….wait what?! Ya, I’m that far behind. It’s almost Valentine’s Day….

I am so thankful for all of the family and friends who could come to Hudson’s party. I can’t post a picture of them all but here are a few!

Cousins, aunts, and uncles galore! H is blessed with a BIG family!

He also had some close friends there. H loved bowling with Julian and having fun with Addie. He sees both of these friends on a weekly basis so he was really excited to play! We were sad some other friends couldn’t make it due to illness, but H still had a great time! (and thankfully didn’t know any different). It took him a few minutes to warm up to all of the people but once he did he had so much fun!

He thoroughly enjoyed opening presents. I think he begged from the moment the first one was set on the fireplace to “omen pesents,” that was probably his favorite part! But once he got that vacuum the party was over! He wanted to vacuum the rest of the night and didn’t care any more about friends, cake or presents!

I’m not sure he even ate cake because he was so into the vacuum. He was really serious through the birthday song, but he did help blow out the candles! Overall, it was such a fun day and I hope he enjoyed it as much as I did! I would do it all over again for my little sweetie, I still can’t believe he’s TWO! Time really does fly when you’re having fun!
